Where to Stay in Liverpool: The Best Neighborhoods and Hotels

Titanic Hotel Liverpool — In the converted Stanley Dock warehouses — vast Victorian brick buildings with industrial-chic interiors, a spa, and excellent rooms. Luxury pricing; slightly removed from the Pier Head but architecturally extraordinary.
Mid-Range
Hard Days Night Hotel — A Beatles-themed boutique hotel in the heart of the city center, with rooms decorated with original Beatles artwork. Mid-range pricing; the best option for visitors for whom the Beatles are the primary purpose of the trip.
Hope Street Hotel — A boutique hotel in a converted Victorian carriage works on Hope Street between the two cathedrals. Well-designed rooms, good restaurant, and an excellent location in the most interesting part of the city. Mid-range to upper mid-range pricing.
Budget
YHA Liverpool — A well-run hostel near the Albert Dock with dorm beds and private rooms at budget prices. The best budget option for Waterfront access.
